Legal Secretary, Marketing, Trademarks, and Quality Assurance

The Legal Secretary, Marketing, Trademarks, and Quality Assurance reports to the Associate General Counsel, Marketing, Trademarks, and Quality Assurance and provides secretarial and administrative assistant support for the function.

Specific responsibilities include:

Maintain contract, national & regional advertising, administration and trademark files.

Serve as liaison between legal department, marketing department, agencies and licensors for various matters including contracts

Prepare limited licenses, license summaries, license end date schedules and cease and desist letters.

General administrative duties including processing invoices, coordinating expenses, travel arrangement.

Coordinate charitable fund-raisers paperwork for company restaurants; administrator for annual charitable co-venture renewal filings to various State Attorney offices in the U.S.

The position is based at the Restaurant Support Center in Miami, FL.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of five (5) years' legal secretarial experience or the equivalent secretarial/administrative experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Works, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Excellent customer service skills; highly responsive and maintains confidentiality

Excellent technical administrative skills; highly organized.

Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks with strong follow through.

Must possess a strong work ethic, initiative and self-motivation.

Ability to work well in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Solid interpersonal skills, including oral and written communications and listening skills.

Team player.
