Summary of Responsibilities:

MetLife, a leader in the Financial Services field, is seeking skilled, energetic inside sales professionals for the Freeport, IL location to grow the assigned territories for the life insurance product line. A life license is required.

 

Principal Responsibilities:
Screens all applications and follows the current underwriting guidelines
Order necessary requirements to complete application
Matches all incoming correspondence to existing files
Case management of all cases to provide a status and follow up to the IA
Takes inbound and makes outbound calls from managers and agents on topics such as product, marketing materials, sales ideas and pending case status
Responsible for sending out marketing materials, product kits and illustrations
Builds relationships with agents through continual sales/marketing campaigns
Taking a case from pending to issued to paid status
Maintain pending files within set guidelines
Error clearing on web problems
Manage workflow to stay within standards
Knowledge of all current products as well as products no longer in the sales portfolio and can answer inquiries
Assists the Team Leader in continuous improvement and in daily activities
Assists and involved in miscellaneous projects

Experience/Qualifications:

Education equivalent to High School Graduate with some college is preferred
