Litigation Clerk

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Performs substantive legal functions in client matters according to established policies and procedures and under the direct supervision of paralegal(s) and attorney(s) employed in the law office.  Keeps accurate time records.  Maintains positive contact with clients and observes confidentiality in client and law office matters.

 

Must be able to perform essential functions unassisted or with reasonable accommodation made by the firm, gather information from clients or others on client?s behalf under the direction of a paralegal or attorney; prepare matrices; trial preparation; filing and indexing.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail; able to multi-task; good organizational skills; analytical ability; experience with the operation of standard office equipment, including personal computer, photocopier and fax machine; and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
