Market Research Specialist - Law Firm

One of the nations top law firm?s has an has an opening in our Marketing Department for a Market Research Specialist. The Market Research Specialist is responsible for supporting firm wide client teams, with a heavy concentration in research and analysis, organization and synthesis of information and reports in support of targeted marketing efforts. Additional responsibilities include: supporting all aspects of client service teams, including targeting, providing research and analysis support of targeted clients for in depth overview of the company, its legal issues, its corporate structure, etc.; providing research and analysis on the legal marketplace and competitive environment; producing industry-specific reports; compiling lists of target companies; and monitoring major changes and trends in the legal industry; providing updates on same to firm management.

 Minimum three years? research and analysis experience in a law firm, corporate or professional environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Internet search tools required. Ability to technically produce research reports and charts and effectively synthesize large quantities of information. Excellent administrative and project management skills. Attention to detail is paramount. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to handle a number of responsibilities simultaneously and to be a self-starter. Ability to make sound decisions and demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness in handling confidential and sensitive information. Flexibility to work additional hours, as necessary. Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines a must. Bachelor?s degree required. Master degree preferred. Legal Marketing experience preferred.
