Job Description:
Major Purpose of the Job:

Provide investigative and legal support to the Enforcement Centers.

Essential job Functions:

Perform legal research for staff attorneys. Assist with preparing for on-the-record testimony of potential respondents. Assist with preparing for and/or take off-the-record customer interviews. Assist investigators with investigative tasks such as entering data and updating and maintaining document files. Review and synopsize transcripts. Assist with preparing for hearings. Analyze documents and prepare exhibits. Cite-check and Shepardize briefs and other pleadings; prepare tables of contents and tables of authorities. Maintain litigation files. Assist with review of documents sent to the Office of Disciplinary Affairs.

Other Responsibilities:

Work on special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate or significant relevant experience. Strong oral and written communication skills and competence on a desktop computer.
Experience in a legal setting preferred. Proficiency in Lexis/Nexis. Proficiency in Excel, Access, iManage and Summation a strong plus.

Working Conditions:

Normal office conditions.
