Paralegal (Job Code 06-037)

This position will assist in the preparation and coordination of all procedural documentation for patent filings and applications, including drafting and editing of patent applications and collecting and evaluating supporting data. This person will also track in-house research studies to recommend the need for and timing of patent filings. Responsibilities include: maintaining patent docketing system for company?s worldwide portfolio, ensuring protection of the company?s proprietary technology, communicating with company collaborators to coordinate protection of collaboration technology and assist in the tracking and administration of contracts. The successful candidate must have Word and docketing experience and 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property. Experience in Access, Excel and contract management is a plus.
