Law Firm Experience Necessary

 



Oversees daily activities of Scheduling, Billing, and Production and interfaces with General Manager and Regional Management to ensure smooth coordination and output in a timely, efficient, and cost effective manner, and to maximize resource utilization including staffing of employees and court reporters.



Calling on clients in person, setting appointments with clients; securing new business and maintaining existing clients, scheduling and performing presentations for clients to secure business.

Acting as contact for clients with our office; helping with collections of a portfolio client when necessary.

Maintaining a portfolio of accounts; coordinates with the Area Sales Manager on sales functions.

Ensures standards for quality, equipment, and branch office performance.  Initiates recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements to facilities.

Develops, monitors, and measures reports on business operations and operating costs within the branch office.  Alerts General Manager of cost and labor overrun, makes recommendations and implements solutions to problems related to same

Establishes and monitors Operational policies and procedures

Assists General Manager in overseeing budget and controlling expenses

Hires, trains, develops, and appraises staff effectively.  Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.  Consults with Human Resources as appropriate. 

 

 REQUIREMENTS:

5 - 7 years sales/operations management background required; as well as a BS/BA (or equivalent combination of education and experience).  Experience in the litigation, legal support and/or document management industry strongly preferred.
