Practice Support Analyst

O?Melveny & Myers LLP, a global law firm, has an immediate opening in our Washington, D.C. office for a Practice Support Analyst.  This position is responsible for assisting with client and practice support needs and for creating and maintaining databases using and training end users on various applications.

 

Responsibilities include supporting and providing training on core applications, including Concordance, LiveNote, Folio Views, IPRO, CaseMap, TimeMap, NoteMap, Sanction and others; consulting with case teams and end-users on the use of core practice support applications; meeting with case teams to determine data review and production needs and make recommendations; reviewing load files from vendors;setting up and maintaining specialty databases; assisting case teams with trial preparation and hardware needs, and providing on-site and remote trial support as needed;performing technical data management activities.

 

Familiarity with a law firm/legal environment is required, as is thorough knowledge of databases, imagebases, image load file manipulation, image linking and image production subset creation, and knowledge of imaging systems.  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and in a team environment as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment with deadlines.  Must be able to troubleshoot litigation support applications and databases.  A four year college degree or equivalent is preferred.
