Practice Support Trial Coordinator
Under the direction of the Practice Support Manager of Technical Operations, this position is responsible for the provision of hearing, trial and arbitration resource coordination services to litigation teams.

Responsibilities:Performing work in an efficient and cost effective manner so as to permit the Firm to reasonably collect fees for such work;Meeting expected billable hours, with an annual budget of 1725 unless otherwise specified;Preparing the Trial Coordination strategic plan, goals and budget in collaboration with the Practice Support Manager of Technical Operations;Executing projects in line with the strategic plan and within budget to achieve goals;Designing, preparing, implementing and maintaining Trial Coordination best practices and standard operating procedures in collaboration with the Practice Support Manager of Technical Operations and other Practice Support Teams;Organizing, developing and maintaining Firm-wide trial technology training program and delivering training sessions;Consulting with legal teams, clients and Practice Support teams on resource and technology needs for trials, hearings, arbitrations and other important litigation events;Marketing the Practice Support Department and Trial Coordination Services within the firm and to clients as needed;Participating in and reviewing Practice Support projects and providing input to other teams of the Practice Support department on new procedures and systems; andMaintaining a strong working relationship with the local IT function, assisting with trouble-shooting software on the network and supporting the IT Department with its technology initiatives and objectives.
Requirements:Minimum of three years of experience in the preparation for and successful logistical execution of multiple hearings, trials and/or arbitrations for complex litigation matters;Minimum of four years of Practice Support experience;Must have at least two year college degree in a related field or equivalent experience; four year degree in a related field preferred.
Knowledge of:Trial presentation technology like Sanction, Trial Director, ELMO, etc.LiveNote or comparable transcript managements applications;
Windows Operating Systems (desk-top and network);Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio;Document management systems such as WorkSite, iManage, Hummingbird DM, etc.;Second tier litigation support applications such as Ringtail, Introspect eCM, JFS Litigator?s Notebook/Lotus Notes, etc.;First tier litigation support applications such as Concordance/Opticon, Summation, DB/TextWorks, CaseMap/TimeMap/NoteMap and other data base applications;Application service providers (ASPs) such as Kroll/Ontrack, Applied Discovery, CaseCentral, Attenex, Cataphora, CaseData, Stratify, etc; andTransactional extranet products such as NetDocuments, CaseCentral.
