Real Estate Assistant

This North Houston (Greenspoint) Oil & Gas Company is searching for a legal professional to join their team on a long term contract basis.  The ideal candidate will be a key factor in assisting in all phases of document preparation and putting together real estate proposals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are essential functions.
*Analysis of real estate lease contracts 

Qualifications: We are looking for talented professionals with actual real estate experience including the following:
*Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously as well as analyze, research, organize, and putting together real estate proposals

*Strong expertise in analysis of legal documents
*Must be able to speak, interpret, write, and understand legal terminology
*Knowledge of legal proceedings for titles and deeds
*Proficient on Access Database, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
*Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills: able to manage priorities and workflow
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Acute attention to detail
*Commitment to excellence and high standards
*Excellent grammatical and spelling skills
*Ability to deal and communicate effectively with people at all organizational levels
*Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
*Creative and innovated team player

Required Experience
*2 years as an Escrow Assistant in a commercial real estate title insurance company, or
*2 years paralegal experience in the real estate department of a law firm, or 

*2 years as a Licensed Real Estate Sales Agent/Broker.

Preferred Experience
The training desired includes any or all of the following:
*Texas Real Estate Sales License
*Paralegal certificate
*Law degree
