Regulatory Compliance Specialist (Highly dynamic role!)

We are in search of a deadline-oriented professional with excellent research and follow-through skills for this challenging role. If you enjoy staying up-to-date on new laws, this is the position for you...because here, the process is always changing.


 


Primary responsibilities include:


 


Keeping current on regulation in regards to providers and internal training

Maintaining policies and procedures and revising them when necessary

Participating in chair meetings involving legislation and annual review of policies and procedures

Preparing surveys and audits

Submitting quarterly and annual regulatory reports to the state



Significant experience law/legislation or with regulatory compliance within healthcare is required. Project management experience is essential. Familiarity with California law is preferred, as is a background with managed behavioral health. Solid MS Office proficiency is a must. Paralegal experience is desired.
