Due to expansion, our client, a major law firm in Manhattan, has an immediate career opportunity for a Staff Accountant who will have responsibility for the full range of accounting transactions that result from the settlements of their legal cases.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. 2+ years of accounting experience within a major law firm

2. Knowledge of all accounting procedures relating to legal case settlements

3. Hands-on involvement in the disbursements of funds that result from favorable verdicts

4. Experience with estate accounting

5. Accounting degree, or accounting major in a continuing college degree program
