Senior Counsel
Due to strong growth, a well-repected mid-size pharmaceutical company with a strong slate of marketed products has created a new Senior Counsel opportunity.
This is a key position reporting directly to Vice President, Legal Affairs / Commercial Business, and will be the primary legal affairs point person for the company's product lines.
The company's pipeline is strong and gearing up for a product launch.The Senior Counsel will provide support and counsel on brand's promotional and medical/scientific activities and will also provide support to the sales force, especially with respect to compliance and policy issues.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Compliance issues, company policy and guidelines. Evaluating state legislative initiatives Drafting & negotiation of agreements for managed care and related areas. Business development and commercial operations.
The position requires at least 5-10 years experience, including significant in-house experience. Experience supporting healthcare fraud & abuse/false claims act compliance initiatives is required. Handling FDA regulatory and federal/state reimbursement matters is a +.
