Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years experience in Intellectual Property (IP) analysis & strategy

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide high quality IP analytics support for projects utilizing both in-house and 3rd party software tools

Recommend and acquire any new IP analysis tools that will enhance strategic IP services

Assume project management of IP analysis services

Manage all operations associated with IP analysis tools and databases.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Applications tools:

Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project Manager

IP analysis tools:Derwent Analytics, Metrics Group, MicroPatent (Aureka)

Online services and databases:Delphion, Dialog, Lexis-Nexis, MicroPatent, PCT, Thomson Scientific, USPTO

 Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in science or engineering. 

Training or qualification as a patent attorney or agent a strong plus.

 Experience in technology transfer and licensing a strong plus.
