Senior Legal Counsel (Healthcare Regulatory for PBM)

Provides counsel and guidance to business operators and administrative personnel on matters involving formal agreements, corporate transactions, HIPAA, policies and procedures, audit issues, licensing, third party disputes and other legal issues.
Preparation and negotiation of agreements.
Provide legal assistance in preparation of bids and Requests For Proposals.
Act as liaison with corporate counsel on matters affecting business operations.
Provides counsel and guidance on issues involving health care regulatory matters including federal and state pharmacy practice regulations.
Manage litigation matters and outside counsel and provides counsel and advise to management with regard to settlement and strategy.


Requirements:


Graduate of a law school accredited by the American Bar Association and must be admitted to a state bar and currently in good standing.
5 to 7 years commercial law and litigation experience.
3 to 5 years Healthcare Regulatory legal experience.
Must be a team player, detail oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.
