Social Security Representative/Attorney

GENEX, a premier managed care company is currently seeking a Social Security Representative/ Attorney in Wayne, PA. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for handling their own caseload of Social Security Disability claims.  You will interact directly with claimants and assist in the initial application, reconsideration, hearing before an Administrative Law Judge, and an appeal to the Appeals Council.  Travel is required to attend hearings.

 

REQUIREMENTS: JD from an accredited law school required. Computer literacy, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service skills, the ability to prioritize and work independently and to ensure that deadlines are met required. Admittance to a Bar preferred. Respects the confidentiality of claimant?s records and files. Employs and encourages good communication and customer service skills. Understands and adheres to company and department policies. Performs as a team player and member.
