General Dynamics Information Technology has an opening for a Sr. Contracts Admin/Contracts Manager in Fairfax, VA. The successful candidate will be familiar with FFP, T&M and Cost Contracts. Proven experience DOD, commercial and non-DOD contracts. Ability to write, negotiate and administer subcontracts. Ability to work independently with emphasis on details and time lines. Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral. The candidate selected will conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiations and administration of major contracts, under general supervision. Analyzes estimates of materials, equipment and services costs. Monitors company performance for conformance to proposals and maintains continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications and government regulations. Experience with GSA contracts administration necessary. Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modification, negotiation, and termination. Coordinates with customer?s representatives as required. Develop terms and conditions (standard and nonstandard/unique); may assist in pricing a proposal through knowledge of cost estimating techniques; conduct contract negotiations; coordinate teaming agreements with senior contracts and management staff; follow-up on accounts receivables/corrective actions. Prepare contract/cost/price volumes of a proposal; primary interface with customer's negotiators/Contracting Officers; responsible for identifying contract changes and other issues and bringing them to the attention of management; participate in program reviews; lead multi-entity proposal efforts involving primes, subs and/or other GD units; participate in post-award kick off meetings, contract set-up meetings and strategy meetings. May serve as a lead role and train others.
