Our 7,000 dedicated professionals design, build, integrate, and operate enterprise and wireless networks for government and commercial customers worldwide. General Dynamics Network Systems is a business unit of General Dynamics.
The person selected for this position will join a team of professionals that have been renovating the Pentagon Information Technology infrastructure for the last eight years. There are five years remaining on this multi-million dollar program with multiple of objectives still to be achieved. The Pentagon Renovation Information Technology Services (PENREN-ITS) Program is a high-profile mission-critical program to modernize the voice, video, and data communication networks for the entire Pentagon campus (five wedges). The program scope is highly complex, requiring GD to renovate the entire Pentagon IT infrastructure, supporting nearly 30,000 users emanating from 70 separate tenant organizations that are geographically dispersed throughout the National Capitol Region. The program consists of two main areas: backbone installation and tenant migration from existing command and center office locations to modernized command centers and office spaces.
Specific functions associated with this position include the administration and monitoring of contract performance on this Pentagon Renovation government prime contracts and provide other support to business development pursuits undertaken by the business area. Negotiates proposals for new business and changes to existing contracts. Reviews contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications and requirements and conformance to master agreement. Responds to inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
Requires Bachelor's degree.
Requires minimum 8 years hands-on contract administration experience dealing with Department of Defense or other government federal agency customer. Advance training in field of contracts is highly desirable.
