Temporary Patent Administrative Assistant

Northern NJ pharmaceutical company seeks a temporary patent administrative assistant for a 4-6 month assignment. Ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of prior patent experience with specific knowledge of procedures and software. Candidate will be responsible for preparing, filing and prosecution of US Patent & Trademark Office patent applications and responsible for preparing case folders, calculating filing fees and meeting patent docket deadlines. Position is responsible for maintaining and updating patent attorney docket for timely filings, responses, and disclosure statements.
