Company Brief: Our client is a privately held, family owned and operated company; They are a major grower, packer, distributor, and exporter of food stuffs supplying the retail, food service, canning and frozen food manufacturing industries nationally and internationally.

 

They have experienced tremendous growth and now occupy five production facilities with a total square footage of over 500,000 and employ a work force of 200 plus and ships more than 350,000,000 lbs. of agricultural food products per year.

 

Job Description:

The Plant Manager will have full P&L responsibility of a newly opened Food Packaging and Manufacturing plant. Responsibilities will include hiring, managing budgets, safety and will work closely with the Maintenance Department to eliminate downtime of operations.

 

 

Qualifications:  3 years of experience in a leadership/ management role within in a food packaging or manufacturing plant. BI-LINGUAL / SPANISH SPEAKING A PLUS. Must be able to demonstrate ability to think strategically and have a good sense for business.  Experience in Safety and Compliance is a plus.
