Help New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. be a leader in the Automotive industry by acting as the Maintenance Supervisor / Electrician who manages and oversees training, planning and scheduling, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance.

 

Job Duties

Manage, schedule, and supervise hourly maintenance team members all breakdowns during shift.

Manage and oversee preventative maintenance activities.

Conduct team member training.Coach, lead and develop team members.  

Partner and coordinate with Production, Engineering, and other external departments to resolve issues and concerns.  Develop metrics and Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's) to monitor and assess effectiveness Asses and analyze current practices and make recommendations for improvement

 

Qualifications4 year apprenticeship in the electrical or mechanical field or a formal military service education.

Good understanding of robotics, PLC functions and ladder logic.

Strong electrical and mechanical background is necessary.Experience with process improvement methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Committed to continuous improvement Self starter Well organized.  Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines with strong follow through. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to use problem solving methods and techniques to successfully and efficiently resolve problems Ability to foster a close working relationship with team members and management
