1st Shift Production Machine Mechanic

Currently they are seeking a 1st shift Production Machine Mechanic for the production floor.  Responsibilities are:

 
Ensure operation of machinery by performing scheduled preventive maintenance following written instructions and operating manuals.

 
Troubleshoot malfunctions and quickly determine the extent of repairs, communicating information to the shift Supervisor.

 
Detect malfunctions by inspecting parts and observing equipment.

 
Provide immediate support for basic machine repairs and parts replacement.

 
Set-up production equipment by completing equipment changeovers.

 
Maintain quality standards by conducting in-process and line clearance inspection.

 
Maintain equipment historical reference by documenting actions.

 

 

Essential Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent
3-5 years experience in a production environment
Detail oriented, analytical, rigorous, reactive, good interpersonal skills.
Previous troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience.
Demonstrated mechanical and technical skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow written instructions and operating manuals.
