2nd Shift Assembly Supervisor

Position:    Supervisor - Assembly

 

Hours:    2nd Shift(2:00pm to 10:15pm) 

 

Salary: $14.00 per hour + $.25 shift differential

 

Department: Production

 

General Duties:  Supervisor to lead the Assembly Department.  The assembly supervisor will support the assembly area in the attainment of the manufacturing goals, the supervision of the assembly employees and the successful execution of the daily production plan.

 



Specific Responsibilities:

Supervise the assembly personnel on a turn basis.  Enforce Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.  Ensure all assembly personnel attend monthly scheduled safety education classes.  Execute the daily assembly production plan.  Notify maintenance of equipment issues and follow-up to ensure completion of repairs.  Notify manager of major issues or problems affecting the successful execution of the assembly department requirements.

Document all delays or equipment problems.  Fill out appropriate paperwork as required

Ensure adherence by employees to the company?s behavioral rules (handbook).  Participate in the employee?s evaluations and disciplinary action as required.  Attend meetings and obtain training as scheduled.  Ensure the safety and protection of company employees, facilities and equipment.  Ensure proper communications of all relevant information to the assembly employees.  Work with support/staff organizations in a professional manner as required.  Ensure the adherence to all standard operating and quality procedures.  Ensure the proper training and evaluation of all new turn assembly personnel.  Mandatory Saturdays are required.
