2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:
This position is accountable for supervising the activities of manufacturing group or groups engaged in assembly, fabrication, testing, and packaging of electrical, electromechanical and electronic devices or parts. Ensures production is maintained in accordance with time schedules, engineering specifications, quality standards, expense budgets, employee safety and cost goals. Assists in maintaining a goal-oriented, safe, and quality-conscious working environment.


Plans, organizes and directs the work of assigned groups maintaining output and sequencing of production in accordance with customer service goals. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply. Maintains close liaison with quality and other productive groups, keeping them informed of any product difficulties or quality problems. Maintains necessary flexibility within assigned operation, ensuring effective reaction to customer requirements that frequently disrupt established production schedules. Instructs employees on the strict adherence required to all safety practices. Promotes good safety attitudes and awareness with employees through discussions and group safety inspections. Coordinates introduction into manufacturing of all major projects such as new products, major methods changes, automation, etc. Promotes employee acceptance of changes. Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of related experience required.
