2nd Shift Production Manager

Concord Foods is a dynamic, fast growing food manufacturer serving industrial, food service and retail customers.  We are seeking a Production Manager who will have overall responsibility for management of 2nd shift manufacturing operations.  Assigns, trains, directs and appraises 3-5 direct reports plus staff of regular and temporary employees.  Working closely with day shift production managers, ensures that daily production requirements are completed on time and in compliance with established quality standards and manufacturing procedures.  Adjusts and adapts schedules to meet customer and manufacturing constraints.

 

Individual will participate in the development of optimum production scheduling, maximum production output, analysis of and solutions to eliminate downtime, identification of and elimination of waste.

 

Candidate must have 5-10 years exp in a process orientation production environment.  This is a hands's on positions for an energetic, self motivated professional.  Must be able to work with a diverse workforce, handle multiple projects, strong communication and organizational skills a must.  Individual is responsible for personnel safety, compliance with food safety standards and FDA Good Manufacturing Practices.

 

Food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience required.
