Our Fortune 500 client, a Global Manufacturer of locomotives and OHV?s, located in Erie, PA has an immediate, contract opportunity for a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor.

Job Description:
Provide direction and material support for Locomotive Center of Excellence Final Test and Paint. Responsible for scheduling, resolving issues, tracking material availability and advising on material usage. Design and implement processes and systems for control and replenishment of materials. Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships. Responsible for attaining all aspects of production operation including safety, scheduling, quality, and team development in assigned areas. Must be able to make data driven decisions and utilize Six Sigma and Lean tools. 1. Strong PC, Microsoft access, Data warehouse and production planning experience. 2. Systems thinking aptitude - able to determine the impact of actions on business. 3. Familiarity with hand tools and test equipment that is relevant to the function. 4. Green Belt training and experience preferred. 5. Strong propensity for excelling in a demanding environment. 6. Excellent interpersonal skills- Effective team player and facilitator. 7. Effective written and oral communication skills.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree 2. 1+ Years Experience in a manufacturing experience 3. 4+ years of leadership role in business or manufacturing in lieu of a degree. 4. Knowledge of safety agency regulations is preferred. 5. Strong background in the interpretation of engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing processes. 6. Self-directed, highly detail oriented, organized, and flexible. 7. B.S. Degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline

Client has implemented the following guidelines:
1. As this is a long-term contract assignment, the client will NOT assist in any relocation.
