Responsible for the leadership of multiple operating areas or departments focused on the manufacture of air handling equipment. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the team achieves goals in safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Works closely with other departments on?3rd shift as well as coordinating activities across all three shifts. Handles administrative tasks as necessary such as payroll, vacation management, production reporting, small projects, etc.?Dimension includes?100 Wage Employees and $150,000 Operating supplies and tooling.

?Supervises various departments and ensures they achieve goals in safety, quality, productivity, cost and delivery.

Directly supervises up to 100 employees in various Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Coordinates activities of various departments and assigns personnel to critical work areas across the entire plant. Addresses operating issues as they arise on the floor by utilizing quality, engineering, and department resources as necessary. Maintains effective working relationship and communication with all departments. Provides leadership on small projects and participates in larger continuous improvement projects. Enforces plant policies and manages administrative tasks such as payroll, vacation tracking and overtime. Trains and develops assigned personnel and ensures compliance with ISO standards. Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.

?This position requires a Bachelor's Degree and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment. In the absence of a 4-year degree in an appropriate field of study, formal certification a total of eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience is required. Normal mechanical and analytical ability is needed as well as good communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), as well as Internet software and E-mail is required. Experience with MAPICS and other manufacturing software is desired.
