APPRENTICE ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN; INDUSTRIAL ROTATING MACHINERY
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Assemble and test industrial packages from bare parts, in ?job shop? environment. This includes mechanical connections, supports and structures, and control panels. Build custom air compressor, vacuum pump, blower and pump assembly packages.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of 3 phase electricalWelder (structural and/or pipe) preferred, not requiredRead & interpret assembly drawings, P&ID?s and electrical schematicsMechanical skillsPhysically able (lifting of 50+ lbs occasionally)Work well independently and with a team/self-starterFollow directions; be an active listener Provide own hand tools
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay is negotiable and depends upon experience. Full medical and dental, life insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, lucrative profit sharing, tuition assistance after one year. Uniforms are cleaned and supplied. Working conditions and environment are favorable.
