....HS Diploma required
....PREFERRED: some college or a Technical degree
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS for ASSEMBLY GROUP LEADER & CNC MACHINING SUPERVISOR
....3-5 years in a manufacturing environment is required
....Ability to manage & motivate people and solve complex problems
RESPONSIBILITIES:
....Responsible for safety, quality, productivity, employee relations & team building in a high volume manufacturing environment
....Requires a broad knowledge of production systems, principles & methodology
....Good technical background is needed in order to manage day-to-day activites, as well as improvement
projects
....Must be able to handle multiple tasks during the workday
....Strong interpersonal skills are required to interact with all levels of management as well as all levels of plant personnel
....Must be able to work without close supervision
....Must have a solid understanding of assembly principles, line balance, and tools used to perform assembly tasks
....Understanding o f Lean Principles related to materials and production control
