ASSOCIATE BUYER/PLANNER
Akzo Nobel a global Fortune 500 company, based in the Netherlands employs over 65,000 persons worldwide throughout its coatings, chemicals, and pharmaceutical business units. Currently, an opportunity exists with the Car Refinishes N.A. sub business unit for an Associate Buyer/Planner in our Pontiac, MI facility.
Job Summary:
Provide inventory guidance to the Branches to assist them with optimizing inventory turns and availability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
? Maintain all MRP master data for Branches.
? Act as the liaison between the Branches and DC
? Confirm production orders on a daily basis
? Assist the Buyer/Planners in planning and analyzing inventory levels of finished goods.
? Assist the Buyer/Planners in coordinating phase out of obsolete or discontinued products.
? Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree or four year higher education required. One or more years of related experience is preferred. SAP experience is preferred.
