Associate Consultant, IT Consulting

Description: The Associate Consultant works with Analysts and other consulting staff to help scope, manage, and deliver customized consulting engagements for clients.

Responsibilities:

?Act as a project manager for multifaceted consulting projects sold at a senior level to large companies. Develop project plans, set milestones, coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project delivery, document results, and manage project expenses and revenue. Take a lead role in managing client satisfaction and project quality.
?Provide ad hoc support to Consultants and Business Development Directors in the sale of customized projects. Synthesize Forrester research themes to assist in proposal writing, aid research analysts and sales reps in developing research methodology for custom proposals, and edit draft proposals for content, language, and grammar/format.
?Manage third-party agencies to field custom research for projects (including vendor selection, data quality control, and adherence to project deadlines), carry out Web research, and conduct executive interviews.
?Work closely with Forrester Analysts to schedule client and prospect meetings, create agendas, and monitor progress against client and internal commitments.
?Participate in the development of standardized consulting offerings, frameworks, methodologies, and supporting sales collateral.

Requirements:

?B.A./B.S. with strong academic record.
?Two to four years of experience at a top-tier consulting or market research company, including hands-on research experience.
?Experience in the high-tech industry is highly recommended.
?Superior communication skills ? including presentation, writing, and graphic design skills.
?Demonstrated capabilities in research and project management including familiarity with statistical methods, and strong Excel skills ? working knowledge of SPSS is a plus.
?Ability to collaborate across the organization to meet the needs of the client.
?The ability to work with a high degree of intensity, follow-through, and collegiality.
?The ability to travel as needed.
