ASST. PRODUCTION MANAGER

Requirements and Competencies

* Bachelors degree required (Engineering, Operations or related field preferred).
* Leadership, supervisory and organizational skills required.
* Five years of production or process superintendent experience.
* Awareness of customer and quality requirements.
* Experience in a team orientated environment.
* Direct applicable experience and technical expertise.
* Willing to relocate.

Primary Responsibilities

* Assist with daily coordination of Production Department resources and activities.
* Management of Production Superintendents' scheduling and performance.
* Provide goals and track key performance measures, including safety, product quality, volume, spoilage and sanitation.
* Management of maintenance and miscellaneous budgets.
* Assist with volume improvement efforts and activities.
* Support of Continuous Process Improvement Team, PQI and TPM activities.
* Participate in and/or lead daily productivity and quality meetings.
* Assist with coordination of team member activities with the support and consultation of the Production Manager and the Human Resources Manager.
