Account Manager - Louisville, KY

Reporting to the Region Manager, you will be responsible for effectively developing relationships with customers in OR, ICU (all Critical care), ED, MM, Biomed, Architects, Equipment Planners, Surgeons/Physicians and CEOs. COOs, CNOs, and CFOs. Additionally, you will manage and utilize company provided sales resources to maximize sales outcomes while providing the best solutions to customers.  

 

Key responsibilities include:Ensure customer satisfaction through effectively balancing priorities so as to manage current customer needs and issues while reserving adequate time to prospect new business opportunities. Interface with key decision makers including physicians, surgeons and senior healthcare personnel.  Prepare a comprehensive annual business plan designed to grow the franchise and achieve required sales objectives. Establish and maintain ongoing relationships and communications with counterparts in Sterile Processing, Technical Services, PDM?s, Natl./Corp Account Field representatives and Home Office Support Organize and implement successful trials within the territory while adhering to the EEP Program Procedures.  Manage mock trials where required. Garner an understanding of all products for effective presentation of technical literature when needed. Will actively pursue and acquire knowledge, new trends and governmental/environmental changes that impact our industry and business. Participate as an active member of customer professional organizations in meetings and conferences as an educator and or exhibitor.

 

Qualifications:Bachelor?s degree in Business or related field. 3 - 5 years experience successful Capital Medical Equipment Sales experience desired along with a proven track record.  Operating Room and Critical Care environment preferred. Computer literacy to include Microsoft Suite.  Experience in CRM (Siebel) desirable. Experience developing and managing budgets and analyzing complex financial data.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability establish and maintain effective relationships; action oriented, has effective presentation skills and possesses a strong sense of business ethics.
