Account Representative

SUMMARY

Manage existing customer business.

JOB FUNCTIONSEstablish and maintain relationships with customer department heads, i.e., operating room purchasing, laundry, central supply, decontamination, waste management, housekeeping, etc.Reusable Surgical Product (RSP) Disposable accessory packs (DAP)Rotate stock on each visit to account. Manage par levels based off ship history report. Check all ancillary areas for missing product. Visit all laundries monthly.InstrumentationBecome knowledgeable on instrumentation. Look for lost instruments. ( Customer notification report ) Ensure sets are rotated weekly by using the outstanding instrument set report Know hospital protocol in Decontam / CS Coordinate and document the return of customer owned instruments.Maintain hospital files with contract information, copies of correspondence, holiday schedules, contact list, etc. Coordinate distribution logistics in hospital. Receive or recommend pack changes to appropriate sale representative. Receive and document service and product complaints to the corresponding SOS and facility. Provide feedback to account; monitor service levels by account. Represent facility at new account transition meetings to finalize logistics. Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor?s degree or equivalent required. Related relevant experience may be considered a substitute for education.

Experience:

Two (2) years sales or service experience required. Working knowledge of Windows based software.

Skills and Abilities:Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to inquiries from customers and management. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of issues. Extensive local travel; ready access to a vehicle in good working condition.
