Asc Dir, Process Excellence

As an Associate Director, Process Excellence, you will facilitate process improvement projects/initiatives across major process and/or functional Supply Chain areas such as Demand and Supply Planning and Manufacturing Execution. You will work in multiple process areas. You will coordinate the team to formulate and recommend design solutions, and will then oversee the project to meet project and strategic objectives. You will guide team members on the use of problem solving/improvement tools and skills. You will determine impact on multiple locations, and will contribute to the strategies and vision of the program or functional area being supported. You will then be responsible for the team to develop projects and initiatives that will help achieve the vision. You will use project management skills to ensure completion of project deliverables that will facilitate improved supply chain processes using SAP as a core solution. You will be responsible for overall program execution. You will design, manage, and track the business case for projects/programs that support Demand and Supply Planning processes and/or other Supply Chain functions. You will report results to management within the Functional Areas. You will approve training materials and other deliverables related to change management such as training plans and materials for major projects. You will manage the design of the Change Management strategy for a major project or process improvement initiative, if necessary. You will ensure the execution of the Change Management plan. You will be directly responsible for the compliance of solutions developed and implemented to avoid unacceptable risk to the project, program, or Functional Area. You will be an individual contributor however may be required to complete performance evaluations, administer compensation programs, and oversee the development of direct reports. You will coordinate diverse project teams within Supply Chain and ERP programs to achieve project/program objectives.

This position requires a BS degree in a Technical or Business field with a minimum of 14 years experience, or an MS (in a relevant area) with a minimum of 12 years experience. Must have 5 - 7 years of supervisory experience. 7 - 8 years of project management experience is recommended, and 5 - 6 years of recommended manufacturing experience, preferably in a plant. Experience with SAP Advanced Planning software (SCM/APO) is preferred as well as familiarity/experience with the SAP R/3 solution set. Training is required on the applicable software; management skills; leadership; GXP regulations for both U.S. and EMEA; and internal policies and procedures. Training will be provided by the department if required.

Travel requirements are approximately 20-25%, possibly including international travel.
