Assembler I

Assembler I Description: Major Job Functions: Performs a variety of diverse electronic or mechanical production assembly tasks



Employs necessary electronic or mechanical processes such as welding, wiring, brazing, soldering and other related assembly utilized by a versatile assembler.



Performs as assigned intricate electronic or mechanical assembly operations requiring a high degree of skill, knowledge and versatility.



Performs rework resulting from drawing change notices.



Performs routine electronic or mechanical tests utilizing appropriate fixtures and equipment as required.



Checks own work for conformance to specifications.



Employs an overall understanding of assembly techniques, utilizing skills normally in two or more production areas.



Performs other related duties as assigned.





Requirements:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS



Three (3) years related assembly experience.



Must have ability to follow written and verbal instructions.



Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics and parts lists. Must have own tools.
