Assembly Team Leader

Responsibilities:

 

*  Oversee the activities of 8-12 Assemblers

*  Perform Work Station prep/set-up

*  Assign work and allocate resources in conjunction with master 

  schedule as determined by Planning function

*  Monitor rate of production and quality of product through assigned

  processes

*  Ensure adherence to work instructions and supporting documentation

while incorporating best work practices

*  Train employees as required

*  Provide ongoing as well as year end performance appraisal input to

  upper Management

*  Oversee cleanliness/orderliness of assigned work areas

 

 

Qualifications:

 

*  Must be computer literate (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word)

*  Strong command of the English language, excellent writing and verbal

skills

*  High School Diploma (necessary), with 2 years college (desired).

*  3-5 years experience in assembly preferably in an ISO certified

  environment

*  Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity
