Coordinates the manufacturing process for RIA/WG&L print, CD/electronic, and ancillary products. The products manufactured include: books, supplements, journals, newsletters, reprints, CD-ROMs, covers, binders, and tabcards. Responsible for the preparation of manuscripts through final media to OK-to-Print for weekly, biweekly, monthly and less frequent publications. Oversees each job tracking the schedule, monitoring the costs, and assuring the delivery of a correct and high quality product. Tracks and updates daily schedules on the Scheduling System, coordinates the job specifications, and has contact with outside vendors. Works closely with editors, fulfillment and manufacturing coordinators, and the scheduling manager. Creates purchase requisitions, and purchase orders using Lotus notes and PeopleSoft. Proofreads page proofs.
QualificationsTwo to three years of production/manufacturing experience in publishing, marketing, or advertising environment and/or a solid print background and proficiency using Microsoft Office. College credits or degree a plus.
