Associate Lab Technician

Minntech Corporation, a Cantel Medical company, has been making vital contributions to patient care for over 30 years by designing and manufacturing life-saving and life-enhancing medical device products.  We are seeking an Associate Lab Technician in the QC Department to support microbiology and fiber testing.

The Associate Lab Tech will be accountable for performing testing to assure performance and integrity of Minntech products.  This person will assist with validation and qualification of new test methods, circuits, and periodic requalification/revalidation of methods and procedures.  The Associate Tech will also assist in development of products and perform research to expand our endeavors.  All work performed by the Technician must be done in a timely manner with strict adherence to testing protocols to assure accuracy and reproducibility.

Knowledge and skills required for this position include the following:Associate's degree or 2+ years experience in a science discipline. Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet/database software. Availability to work flexible hours with occasional overtime to support test requirements. Strict adherence to OSHA and company safety procedures. Ability to write legibly and read and speak English and perform basic math functions. Ability to stand, walk, reach above and below shoulder height, and push/pull 25 lbs. occasionally.  Frequent bending, stooping, and crouching is required as is frequent repetitive movement of both hands. Good vision and color distinction.
