Asst. Die Cast Manager

Adecco Engineering and Technical Services has an outstanding opportunity for a fulltime position as a Assistant Die Cast Manager. This position is located near Columbus, Indiana. Please see the details of the position listed below:

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting the manager of Die Cast department and for reporting results to executive management.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Produce quality products for customer
2 Ensure on-time delivery to customer
3. Communicate information, goals, safety, etc. to all leaders
4. Make company processes profitable
5. Maintain productivity and continual improvement
6. Maintain and improve department quality goals
7. Report department results in monthly meetings

Job Specifications:
1. Delegate job assignments
2. Advise engineering of weak process points (inefficiencies)
3. Planning production, personnel and equipment
4. Prioritize daily work
5. Investigate quality and production problems

Training Needs:
- Management level associates are either selected from highly skilled, experienced personnel or are hired from the outside with the necessary advanced skills and experience to accomplish the task at hand.
- Management level associates need to be skilled in the systems regarding the QMS and EMS. The position also requires the knowledge of department and company policies and procedures and an understanding of work instructions and operation standards.
