Automated Equipment Maintenance Specialist

 

?  Performs intermediate level Service and Preventive Maintenance on Automated Equipment by using and understanding Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatic drawings and schematics.

?  Troubleshoot, Service, Install and Repair automated production equipment, to include Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic systems. 

?  Through the direction of Developers and/or Production Engineering, implement new ideas and processes.  Recommends alterations to Developers and Designers to improve quality of processes and/or machines. 

?  Working with Production Engineering, plans and designs methods to improve efficiency in production.
-Using equipment maintenance software, logging system and equipment problems, equipment maintenance and spare parts inventory. 

?  Trains production employees on how to maintain and perform basic Preventive Maintenance on automated machinery.  Develop equipment Preventive Maintenance procedures.

?  Operates on site in an on-call capacity.

?  Maintains professional relations between the customer (Site Operations) and the organization on all equipment matters while assuring compliance with approved methods and quality standards.

 

Qualifications:

?  At least 5 years of Mechanical and Preventive Maintenance experience as related to automated equipment.

?  At least 3 years of Electrical Systems as related to automated equipment.

?  At least 3 years of Pneumatics knowledge and experience.

?  Experience working in a high volume production or pharmaceutical environment is a +.

?  Highly motivated and a self-starter. 

?  Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed.

?  May include minimal travel to other sites and ESI facilities.

 

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.  Associate's degree preferred, AND 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
