Automated Equipment Technician- 3rd shift

Job Summary Major Responsibilities · Responsible for the efficiency, performance and maintenance requirements for a specified manufacturing operation. Responsible for outgoing quality level.
? Serve as a group leader for the assigned operation with responsibility for the efficient use of operating personnel.
? Use a variety of testing and measuring equipment, tools and equipment in the efficient minor troubleshooting of electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical line equipment.
? Work closely with production engineering, electronics, and metrology personnel to specify instruments and parts, and troubleshoot problems.
? Interpret manufacturer bulletins, brochures, operating manuals, and blueprints, and communicate directly with equipment suppliers concerning equipment needs.
? Responsible for spare part inventory and ensuring that parts requiring replacement are procured.
? Suggest and implement line improvements.
? Set up, disassemble, adjust and clean equipment and may direct others in similar activities.
? Work with validation, engineering and pharmaceutical development to assure that new products and processes are implemented, validated and properly engineered.
? Perform routine programming to operate the equipment for the intended process.
? Responsible for the content of, and performing all required preventative maintenance procedures. Work with equipment manufacturers and production engineering to develop these procedures.
? Responsible for Aseptic Operations and manipulations, including media fills.
? Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to control the process.
? Ability to work extended hours, all necessary shifts, and to travel for extended periods to support the operation.
? Perform other similar and related responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor.


Responsibilities

? High school graduate with related college courses preferred.
? Training in mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and the testing equipment used in electrical and/or electronic troubleshooting required.
? Minimum of three years experience in a production environment, specifically responsible for equipment performance required.
? Moderate physical activity required (Ability to lift 50 lbs.)
