Automation Controls Engineer, Manufacturing Plant
This is a rare opportunity to be a key player on the professional plant leadership team that will start up a new greenfield state-of-the-art continuous-line, equipment-intensive, 24/7, highly automated manufacturing plant - another of over 100 plants in 50 countries around the world.
Implement and maintain World Class Manufacturing projects at this new site. Provide input for design or development of new process control systems. Implement and support PLC-based control systems. Provide support for PC-based supervisory control systems.
Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Quality internally and Technical Services, consultants and suppliers externally.
Problem solving situations include analyzing operating systems, developing solutions and leading the implementation of corrective action. Use advanced PLC/Controls to reduce process variations and downtime.

Requirements:
* BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
* 5+ years experience of applied professional experience in the development and implementation of PC-based supervisory and PC-based control systems. Automation and controls expertise
* Continuous process industry is preferred but not required
* A passion for excellence and being part of a World Class Team that is incorporating Toyota Production System/Lean/World Class methodologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective at all levels in the organization
* Positive, enthusiastic, hi-energy, self-driven, team player
