We currently have two job openings for our quality department a Product Certification Engineer (Quality Engineer) and a Aviation Quality Compliance Manager.

 

Product Certification Engineer

Candidate will evaluate engineering design outputs for quality and reliability, challenges product design to prevent failures from occurring and confirms that design and manufacturing process result in a product the exceeds both requirements and expectations. Identifies regulatory requirements and establishes, manages and executes plans to secure certification and approvals from the appropriate agencies.

 

Preferred Requirements:Supplemental Certification(s) (FTC, etc) FAA regulatory Inspection and testing of aviation products and designs Aircraft installation FAA Repair Station Knowledgeable in the use and interpretation of aviation industry (ANSI, IPC, ISO, etc) Working knowledge of RTCA & DO-160 requirements Bachelors Degree and/or 4 years of equivalent experience (electronics production, engineering, quality/reliability) Good customer service and organizational skills

 

Aviation Quality Compliance Manager

Manages the Quality Compliance department, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained through Quality Management System compliance and improvement and by performing comprehensive and thorough verification and validation activities. Monitors product and process performance, analyzes performance data and facilitates the continual improvement of the organization. Ensures overall customer satisfaction by managing all organizational and customer-specific quality-related reports, as requested. 

 

  "A very strong candidate would have knowledge/experience/background in an electromechanical manufacturing environment, have been involved in product realization from design and development through release to production and on-going monitoring and improvement, be competent in quality system development and monitoring (ISO or AS), have been working in the aviation industry as a supplier to or working for an aircraft manufacturers (business aircraft preferred), have strong practical knowledge of a variety of quality tools, be skilled in interacting with customers and the FAA, be a strong manager and leader and have all the intangible traits that are desirable in an employee."  VP of Quality/Operations

 

 

Preferred Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business or a technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years professional experience in Electronics production or quality with 2 years management experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of basic and advanced quality tools. Knowledge and understanding in electronics and/or electro-mechanical assemblies. Detail knowledge and understanding of quality systems requirements and development in support of ISO and FAA regulatory based regulations. Internal/Lead Auditor Training, 6 Sigma Certification Aviation Industry experience Knowledge of FAA regulations and certification methodologies.Able to prepare and deliver presentations.
