BA / PM with Manufacturing

  The Business Analyst is responsible for the development of project deliverables necessary to design, construct, test, and implement business applications.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Functions considered essential as defined by ADA are denoted by an *.

? Identify system improvements through audits of existing functionality and processes

? Define requirements and develop use cases of medium complexity

? Develop user interface specifications of medium complexity

? Develop cost benefit analysis for additional application functionality or changes to existing application functionality

? Define and develop test plans and test cases in order to perform functional application testing including usability system and regression testing

? Develop and maintain the appropriate tasks to successfully manage project activities in accordance with project timeline

? Train division personnel on new release functionality

? Assist with production issue research

? Facilitate all communications between local organization and Corporate IT

? Provide user community with guidance and assistance by identifying their information technology needs, understanding their configuration requirements, providing the justification of the need to management and, if approved, ensuring the solution is ordered

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (refers to position, not incumbent): 

 

  Education:  Bachelor?s Degree in Information Technology

 

Required Certification/Licensure: Valid drivers license

 

Experience:  3 to 5 years of Business Analyst work experience

 

Special Skills Required: 

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills

? Strong problem solving, quality assurance and interpersonal skills

? Ability to work in dynamic team environment

? Ability to read logical and physical data model

? Proficient knowledge of system life cycle methodologies
