BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR

Immediate opportunity to work for a great aerospace manufacturer in the Auburn area as a Brake Press Operator. Qualified candidates should have a minimum 2-5 years experience.

Job Duties Include:

-Work with JIT principles
-Schedule brake by staging jobs "First in First out."
-Sort jobs by type (Material thickness, Bend radius.)
-Verify prior operations
-Stage needed tooling
-Bolt tooling onto brake
-Determine angle and flange length from documentation (Cad, PCM, DLT, Etc.)
-Determine pinch point
-Input collected data
-Check flange lengths and correct as needed
-Inspect and buy off last part
-Send parts to next operation
-Adhere to safety practices.
-Strive to meet productivity, standards set by target times
-Use of inspection equipment, calipers, protractors, pin gauges, Etc.
