Currently we are looking for a Production Manager for our Fresh Dough Facility in Beltsville, MD

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Supervise the entire Production and Sanitation Team to ensure that a quality product is produced on a daily basis. 

This position reports to the Facility Manager.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.  Accurately purchase all ingredients and equipment needed to complete the production schedule.

2.  Understand, uphold, and enforce strict process controls, GMP?S and high sanitation standards.

3.  Run production shift in the most efficient manner, ensuring team stays on schedule.

4.  Identify and resolve equipment or personnel issues as they arise during the shift.

5.  Communicate with Bakery Caf?s and work to resolve issues pertaining to the Fresh Dough Facility as they arise.

6.  Enforce and uphold safety standards..

7.  Make necessary adjustments to formulas and Production Schedules for late add ons.

8.  Ensure that associates follow and complete formulas, schedules, and required documentation.

9.  Provide a weekly employee schedule to cover all necessary shifts within production and sanitation. 

10.  Any other responsibilities or necessary tasks delegated by the Facility Manager. 

 

Minimum requirements include three (3) years previous production experience (fresh dough, baking preferred) in a supervisory or leadership role. General knowledge of GMP?s, sanitation, ingredient purchasing, production schedules and formulas is required.
