Bindery, Warehouse and Shipping Assistant

If you'd like to join a dynamic company, Sunrise Greetings has an opening for a Bindery, Warehouse and Shipping Assistant ! Sunrise Greetings, a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, Inc., is seeking a Bindery, Warehouse and Shipping Assistant on 2nd shift (Mon-Thurs, 3:40 p.m.-2:25 a.m.)to support its manufacturing and distribution area. The Bindery, Warehouse and Shipping Assistant  is responsible for packaging, off lasing, loading and or packaging poroduct. The Assistant will also be responsible for meeting product quality, production rate and safety goals. .

 

Primary duties and responsibilities include:Load, off bear or operate one or more bindery machinesAssists in general Bindery workAssists in order pulling in the Shipping department Assists in manual material handling dutiesMaintain production speeds when producing bound pieces using hand operations.Assists with other jobs when directed by the Bindery Packaging and Folding manager, Shipping manager or machine operators.

 

Skills / experience required:High School Diploma or GEDThe ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in the English languageMath skills in including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions.
