The UniClean Division of UniFirst Corporation specializes in cleanroom garment services to hi-tech industries such as semiconductor, medical device, pharmaceutical, biomedical, optics, and a growing list of cutting-edge manufacturers. These industries require absolute cleanliness and consistency in their manufactured products and therefore require specialized uniforms and controlled cleaning processes. 

 

UniClean is seeking an outstanding individual who understands the importance of attention to detail with an eye towards implementing quality programs that meet or exceed customer requirements across the many industries that we serve. 

 

This position will report directly to the General Manager and will lead a team of 15+ in production, service, administrative and sales.

 

Responsibilities:

1)  Collect, analyze and recommend actions and improvements for critical operating parameters.  Ensure compliance with all applicable company, federal, and state safety and occupational regulations.

 

2)  Oversee maintenance of the existing ISO 9002 quality program, normal expenditures, revenues, profits, merchandise, stockroom, machinery and plant equipment as directed by General Manager.

 

3)  Represent UniClean during customer quality audits and off-site sales presentations.

 

4)  Manage the location including hiring, training, and discharging personnel, implement company wage policies, schedule and assure adequate level of trained employees; assure adequate level of performance, discipline, integrity, and productivity of employees; maintain morale and safety.

 

This high visibility position requires positive attitude and a sharp aptitude.  The successful applicant will be computer proficient, team oriented, self-motivated, have excellent written and oral skills, and have some technical service or manufacturing based experience.  A college degree is a must.
