Job Description

1) Purchase indirect (MRO) items, to include entry of purchase orders, and resolution of any outstanding vendor issues including monthly A/P resolution .
2) Obtain competitive quotations and select indirect materials suppliers based on quality, cost, lead-time, service and financial stability.
3) Manage existing vendor relationships to ensure quality, performance and cost requirements are met.
4) Utilize Open Purchase Order Reports to facilitate on time deliveries and monitor supplier performance as required.
5) Expedite/defer direct material deliveries, as necessary, to support operations and meet corporate production requirements.
6) Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills required.

1) Education: 2 year degree
2) Experience: 3-5 years in a fast paced manufacturing environment
3) Ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills.
4) Macola Experience is a definite plus.
5) Experience with MS Office required.
6) Prior contract/supplier relationship management experience required.
7) A strong record of working as a collaborative team player is a plus.
8) A record of working effectively with manufacturing, quality, sales, finance, R+D engineering is required.
